Maria Andreano, RN

Wellness Director

Maria leads the nurses, certified nursing assistants and medical technicians on our Resident Care team at Wingate Residences on Blackstone Boulevard. A registered nurse for many years, Maria brings a wealth of experience to our community. While she has worked in both skilled nursing facilities and assisted living communities, her interest and passion lies in assisted living.

Nursing is Maria’s second career. She worked as a Marketing and Product Development professional for 35 years before switching to healthcare. She takes a very holistic approach to nursing, believing that you need to treat the person and not just the illness.

Maria holds a B.S. in Nutritional Science, an MBA, a nursing degree, and is a certified Infection Preventionist.
