Providence, RI — Wingate Residences on Blackstone Boulevard will host a grand opening celebration for one of Rhode Island’s only early stage memory care programs , the Terrace, on June 30th from 3:30 to 6:30p.m. Wingate Residences on Blackstone Boulevard, an assisted living and memory care community, located at 353 Blackstone Boulevard (on the Butler Campus). A ribbon-cutting ceremony with Jorge Elorza, Mayor of Providence; Alexandra Schuster, President and Scott Schuster, Founder of Wingate Healthcare, will be held at 4:15 p.m. The media is invited to attend this invitation-only event. Wingate Residences on Blackstone Bouleverd offers 128 assisted living apartments, including Wingate Healthcare’s two unique memory care programs. The Neighborhood, which provides specially-designed care for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and who have progressed beyone the early stage of coginitive decline.
The Terrace is individualized to those in early stages of memory loss. The residents in The Terrace are provided with programs and activities that are challenging and individualized to residents in earlier stages of cognitive decline. Typical residents in the Terrace may require cueing and supervison, as well as a structured environment to maximize success. Amenity spaces inlcude a beautiful dining room, Salon and Spa, Caf , and Arts and Media room, living room spaces, and an outdoor rooftop Terrace.
